High-pressure laminates combine their excellent aesthetic qualities with properties and virtues of interest to those who conceive or realize interior design solutions, starting with ductility and robustness. HPL panels are antibacterial, fireproof and impact resistant; they withstand impacts with blunt objects, are resistant to scratches, abrasions, and stable to light and UV rays.
SWISS CDF is a wood fibre panel, compactly compressed (>1’000 kg/m3) . With its backing plate and multi-layer structure, SWISS CDF sets new standards in interior design and construction. Stability, scratch resistance, splash resistance and low flammability characterize this natural wood material.
Range of 11 colours available. For proper cleaning, simply use glass cleaning products or alcohol diluted in plenty of water, making sure you dry the surface immediately with a soft and non-abrasive cloths. Avoid using scouring powders, ammonia, acetone and furniture waxes.
The laminate finish is a chipboard panel coated with melamine paper, which is a synthetic material consisting of thin paper sheets impregnated with melamine resin. The melaminates offered by Ceramica Dolomite, thanks to the development of ever more realistic papers, are all ‘thermo-structured’ and reproduce the effect of wood very realistically. This feature, combined with remarkable hardness and resistance to scratching and solvents, makes these panels extremely valid solutions, pleasant to the eye and to the touch.
Oak and walnut tops are among the most valuable and must be used with care. Wood is a ‘living’ material that is particularly sensitive to heat and moisture. Any changes in colour over time, due to light, are not a defect, but rather emphasize the fact that it is a natural material. Their particularity lies in the presence of knots, small holes, imperfections on its surface, which denote their authenticity and increase the value and uniqueness of this finish.
